Seeker

Guest

I know this isn’t the correct forum for this, but I could find no other forums nor figure out how to register…

I would like to be able to add "chapters" to my video by being able to seek to certain points in a video. I tried the setTimeIndex() function, but it didn’t seem to do anything. Is there any other way to seek in a video?

The setTimeIndex() should work but if the video is being sent progressively then you will only be able to seek to timeIndexs that have downloaded. You would need something like Flash Media Server to be able to seek beyond points that are in the buffer.

Hope that helps - dan
